Among the ongoing initiatives set to be continued this year is the “Adopt an Orphanage” program, launched in 2021. This initiative connects corporate sponsors with orphanages to provide a full year of financial support for utilities, repairs, and care for over 300 children, ensuring their well-being.

Another significant project is the Menstrual Hygiene Initiative, also introduced in 2021. This program aims to combat period poverty by distributing free sanitary pads to school-aged girls, ultimately working to reduce school absenteeism caused by menstrual issues.

Additionally, the First Lady’s Office will further its signature National Beautification Project, targeting various regions across the country. A portion of the budget, amounting to $35 million, has been specifically allocated to support this initiative, contributing to the enhancement of public spaces.

The funding will also extend to vulnerable communities, with a focus on workshops addressing sexual and reproductive health. These efforts aim to provide critical information and resources, further supporting the health and well-being of the nation’s citizens.
