Photographer Keron Bruce Challenges ‘Guyanese Critic’ to a Pay per View Fight at Gymnasium

  • News

Popular Guyanese Photographer Keron Bruce has publicly challenged Social Media personality Mikhail Rodrigues, popularly known as the “Guyanese Critic,” to a one-on-one sanctioned fight at the National Gymnasium.

In a recent video statement, Bruce said he is prepared to face Rodrigues in a “fair and legal setting,” stressing that he does not intend to engage in any unlawful confrontation.

“If you want to fight me, I accept the challenge. But it has to be in the ring at the Gymnasium, and you’ll sign a waiver so I don’t face legal consequences,” Bruce declared.

He insisted the fight should be hand-to-hand combat only, with no weapons involved, and suggested that tickets could be sold for the event. Bruce even pledged to donate part of the proceeds to Rodrigues’ family.

“Let’s do it properly. In the ring, with rules, so it’s fair. No street fights, no games — just a sanctioned match,” he said.

However, Rodrigues appeared to dismiss the challenge in a social media post, mocking those calling him out.

“I opened up a can of worms, every antyman, dog, louse and roach want to fight me now, lmaooo,” Rodrigues wrote.

Whether the proposed fight will actually materialize remains to be seen.
