Two teenagers are among six individuals arrested as police investigate the discovery of a firearm and ammunition during a late-night operation in Linden on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

The operation took place between 7:00 PM and 11:30 PM at Three Miles, Wisroc, following intelligence linked to a video circulating on social media involving wanted man Jamal Bourne, also known as “Skinny.” Acting on this information, ranks from Regional Divisions Three and Ten conducted a search of a wooden structure concealed within dense vegetation.
During the search, authorities uncovered a black and silver Taurus pistol with the serial number filed off, hidden under a mattress, along with six live .32 rounds of ammunition.
Further investigations in the vicinity led police to a heap of burnt material near the structure. Forensic experts have since been deployed to examine the site and determine the origin and nature of this material.
The six individuals present at the location during the operation were arrested and taken to the Mackenzie Police Station, where the firearm and ammunition were lodged as exhibits.
