Police are investigating the death of Ron Clarke, a 30-year-old taxi driver from William Street, Kitty, and Lot 76 Wisroc Housing Scheme. His body was discovered in a drain at Victory Valley, Wismar Linden, around 7:15 PM on Thursday evening.

A 19-year-old construction worker reported seeing Clarke lying motionless in the drain while walking in the area. After raising an alarm, Clarke was removed from the drain and taken to Linden Hospital Complex, where he was pronounced dead on arrival by Dr. Ross.
An examination of Clarke’s body revealed multiple gunshot wounds:
- Five (5) to the right arm
- Two (2) to the groin
- One (1) to the right side hip
- Six (6) on the right thigh
Additionally, one warhead was found in his underwear.
At the scene, police noted that the street runs east to west, lined with small snack bars and shops, all of which were closed at the time of the incident. Crime scene investigators processed the area, finding a pair of blood-stained black and white Adidas slippers and ten 9mm spent shells on the southern side of the street. Both items were collected, sealed, and sent for laboratory examination.
The body has been taken to Jetsco Funeral Home, pending a post-mortem examination (PME). Authorities are continuing their investigations and have questioned several individuals in the area.
