Authorities are investigating the murder of Gavin Daniels, a 38-year-old labourer from Moleson Creek, which occurred on Monday night at Jackson Creek, Corentyne.
Daniels, who was also known by the nickname “Talk to Me,” was reportedly stabbed to death.
A 23-year-old male fisherman from Jackson Creek has been taken into custody and is assisting police with their inquiries.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the murder are ongoing.
