Authorities are investigating the murder of 89-year-old Lackandai Tamessar, found dead at her home on Tuesday with multiple stab wounds.
According to police reports, Tamessar’s 88-year-old husband was discovered at the residence and has since been taken into custody for questioning regarding the circumstances of her death.
The investigation revealed that the elderly woman was last seen alive on Friday by a relative who visited her home. It was this same relative who discovered Tamessar’s body during another visit on Tuesday.
