A tragic accident claimed the life of 31-year-old Keiron Warner, a resident of Central Amelia’s Ward, Linden, on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 6:30 AM along the Loo Creek Public Road, part of the Linden/Soesdyke Highway.

Warner was driving motor car PZZ 934 when he allegedly collided head-on with motor lorry GXX 3002, driven by 50-year-old Emmanuel Newton Mitchel, also a Linden resident.
According to police enquiries, the lorry driver reported that he was traveling north in the western lane when Warner, who was heading south in the eastern lane at a high speed, suddenly swerved in a south-western direction, colliding with his vehicle.
The impact was severe, pinning Warner inside his car and causing critical injuries. Emergency responders arrived shortly after the incident, and a team of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) examined Warner but pronounced him dead at the scene.
A breathalyzer test conducted on the lorry driver showed no trace of alcohol in his system. He has been placed in police custody and is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
