Rayana Simpson, a 27-year-old Special Constable, was charged with manslaughter on Monday following the fatal stabbing of her partner, Peter Michael Rawlins.

Simpson appeared before Magistrate Rhondel Weever at the Wales Magistrate’s Court where the charge was read to her. She was not required to enter a plea and was granted bail set at $500,000 under the condition that she reports to the Leonora Police Station on the 15th of each month.
