The Guyana Police Force is actively searching for Timothy Fraser, a 32-year-old businessman from C Field, Sophia, who is wanted in connection with the alleged rape of a child.

Fraser was initially arrested on September 6 but was granted bail at $200,000. He remained in custody for several days due to his inability to post bail, which was later reduced to allow for pretrial release on September 15.
Police reported that delays in the case stemmed from the need for a forensic interview report. Once obtained, authorities advised that Fraser should appear in court. However, he failed to show up when the matter was called on September 17.
Efforts to serve a summons on Fraser at his home in Sophia were unsuccessful, prompting police to prepare a Wanted Bulletin. It is believed that he may have fled to the interior regions of the country.
