A post-mortem examination conducted earlier today on the body of Stacy Walton has confirmed that she died from asphyxia and drowning.
The examination was performed by Government Pathologist Dr. Bridgemohan at Bailey’s Funeral Home in #4 Village, West Coast Berbice, between 07:30 and 08:50 hrs.
Stacy Walton’s body was identified by her father, Raoul Walton, a 57-year-old farmer from Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam, Berbice. After the examination, the body was handed over to her relatives for burial.
The circumstances surrounding her death are under investigation by the police. The community mourns the loss of Stacy Walton as they seek answers in this tragic incident.
