President Dr. Irfaan Ali has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to distributing another cash grant, emphasizing that this initiative is part of a more comprehensive plan aimed at improving the lives of all citizens.

Speaking on the sidelines of an event today, the President responded to inquiries regarding the cash grant promised during his campaign. “Our government always delivers. And as I have said, there are a series of initiatives that I will be announcing,” Ali stated.

He further elaborated that while some might focus solely on the cash bonus, the government’s agenda is far more extensive. “This government has a very elaborate agenda for the upliftment of your life, for the improvement of your life, for building prosperity for you, for building prosperity for your community, for empowering you,” he said.

President Ali outlined several key initiatives aimed at enhancing citizens’ quality of life, including access to quality healthcare, education, home ownership, reduced interest rates, and low-cost business development loans and grants. He also mentioned plans for improved access to educational resources, such as textbooks, an expanded school feeding program, and infrastructure developments that support community wellbeing, particularly in women’s health services related to cancer treatment and detection.

“Don’t narrow your approach to life to just one facet of what the government will deliver. There are many facets of what your government will deliver to you,” he emphasized.
