As the disciplined services prepare to vote on Friday, President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali urged them to choose the party that has consistently supported them.
Speaking to a large crowd in Black Bush Polder, he highlighted the PPP/C’s restoration of the tax-free Christmas bonus, which was cut by the previous APNU+AFC government in 2015, causing distress for many families.
“Vote with your conscience, vote for the party that gave you back your bonus,” Ali said, pointing to increased scholarships, training access, and salary improvements.
He assured members of the joint services that the PPP/C will continue to support home ownership, salary increases, and quality of life enhancements. Ali called for a united effort on September 1 to ensure continued progress for Guyana.
