Travis Chase, HGP Nightly News Reports — A probe is underway following a suspected arson attack at the East La Penitence Police Station.
Police officers on duty formed a bucket brigade to extinguish the fire before the Guyana Fire Service arrived Saturday morning. The PVC ceiling on the eastern side of the station was destroyed.
A 29-year-old female, arrested for murder and held in the lockups, is being questioned in connection with the fire.
