Prince Holder, the Chairman of the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) in Region Two and father of former Parliamentarian Shurwayne Holder, has announced his resignation from the party.

In a letter addressed to the party’s General Secretary, Holder stated, “As you are aware, I have served loyally in this capacity for the last seven (7) years but unfortunately, recent developments within the Party have caused irreconcilable differences between the current leadership and me. As such, I have concluded that the only solution lies in my departure.”
Despite his decision to leave, Holder expressed gratitude for the confidence that the party placed in him during his tenure, emphasizing his commitment to the party and the region.
This resignation comes shortly after his son, Shurwayne Holder, who previously served as the party’s Chairman, also stepped down from the PNCR. In his resignation email to party leader Aubrey Norton and General Secretary Sherwin Benjamin, Shurwayne indicated that his departure was effective immediately, though he did not specify the reasons behind his decision.
Holder’s resignations signify ongoing tensions within the PNCR, highlighting potential challenges for the party’s leadership and future.
