Search Underway for Missing Woman from Anna Catherina

News

Concern is growing for the safety of 38-year-old Chandini Persaud, also known as Savi, who has been reported missing since Saturday, November 15, 2025. Friends and family have raised alarms after failing to make contact with her over the past few days.

The last confirmed communication with Savi occurred on Thursday, November 13, while her sister, who resides in the United States, spoke to her the following day. On Saturday afternoon, Savi was last seen at her home, where subsequent searches revealed her belongings, including her phone, left behind.

Savi’s sister became worried when multiple attempts to reach her went unanswered. Following unsuccessful inquiries at her residence, a police report was filed at the Lenora Police Station.

Savi has struggled with her mental health recently and has been noted for displaying fragile emotional states. According to friends, she often takes walks in her village, sometimes along Cemetery Road or Burri Street.

Family and friends are urging the community to assist in locating Savi. They ask anyone with information or sightings to contact the police at +592 268 2222 or reach out directly to her uncle, Omesh, at +592 664 2771 or +592 612 6389.

They emphasize that any information, no matter how small, could be crucial in bringing Savi home safely.
