Shaka Phillips, a 21-year-old laborer known as “Concrete Man,” was arrested on July 20, 2025, and charged today with the murder of Jenel Pollidore, a 26-year-old teacher from Lower Kara Kara, Mackenzie, Linden.
Phillips appeared via Zoom at the Linden Magistrate’s Court before Senior Magistrate Ms. Rondel Weaver. During the hearing, the charge was formally read to him. He was not required to enter a plea, and bail was denied, resulting in his remand to prison.
