Stanleytown Resident on $20,000 Bail for Threatening Language and Breach of Peace

Kaieteur News Reports : Dwayne King, a resident of Stanleytown, was granted $20,000 bail on Wednesday after facing charges of using threatening language and breach of the peace.

King, who resides at Lot 165 Stanleytown, West Bank Demerara, appeared before Magistrate Leron Daly at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court. He pleaded not guilty to the charges, which allege that on August 14, 2025, he directed threatening language towards Fayne Roberts at East Street, Georgetown.

Additionally, it is alleged that King provoked Roberts with the intent to insult or annoy her on the same day.

Represented by attorney Domnick Bess, King was granted bail of $10,000 for each charge. The case has been adjourned to September 10, 2025, for further proceedings.
