Police have arrested Travis Brewster, also known as “Turpin,” a miner from Victory Valley, Wismar, Linden, who was wanted in connection with two separate murder investigations.
According to a statement from Police Headquarters, Brewster was apprehended on Monday at approximately 3:35 PM in the area of 14 Mile, Issano Landing, following the issuance of a wanted bulletin for his arrest.
Brewster is implicated in the murder of Ron Clarke, which took place in Linden on July 17, 2025. He is also a suspect in the murder of Emanuel Williams, known as “Chiny,” a gold miner from Five Miles Scheme in Bartica, which occurred on January 23, 2026.
He is currently in police custody while investigations into both murders continue. Authorities are expected to provide further updates as the case develops.
