Javier Mc Donald, a 34-year-old taxi driver from Lot 8, Lima, appeared at Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court to face charges of “Careless Driving.”
In front of His Worship, Mr. Ravindra Mohabir, Mc Donald pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was granted bail in the amount of $50,000.
The offence involved 46-year-old Kester Jack, a mason residing at Lot 571, Charity Housing Scheme. The incident took place on November 1, 2025, on Dartmouth Public Road, Essequibo Coast.
The case has been adjourned and is scheduled for a hearing on December 16, 2025. This incident highlights ongoing concerns about road safety and the importance of responsible driving practices in the community.
