Investigation Underway in Death of Taxi Driver Ron Clarke
Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Ron Clarke, a 30-year-old taxi driver from William Street, Kitty, and Lot 76 Wisroc Housing Scheme. The incident occurred around 7:15 PM on July 17, 2025, in Victory Valley, Wismar Linden.

According to a 19-year-old construction worker, he discovered Clarke lying motionless in a drain while walking in the area. After raising an alarm, Clarke was removed from the drain and transported to the Linden Hospital Complex, where he was pronounced dead on arrival by Dr. Ross.
An examination of Clarke’s body revealed multiple gunshot wounds:
Five (5) to the right arm
Two (2) to the groin
One (1) to the right side hip
Six (6) on the right thigh
Additionally, one warhead was found in Clarke’s underwear.
At the scene, which features small snack bars and shops on both sides of the street, police noted that the shops were closed at the time of the incident. Crime scene investigators processed the area, discovering a pair of blood-stained black and white Adidas slippers on the southern side of the street, along with ten 9mm spent shells. Both the slippers and the spent shells were collected and sealed for laboratory examination.
The body has been transported to Jetsco Funeral Home, where it awaits a post-mortem examination (PME). Authorities have begun questioning several individuals in the vicinity as the investigation continues.
