The accident occurred around 1:50 AM, with preliminary investigations indicating that Kenneth was travelling west along the northern drive lane of Aubrey Barker Road at a high speed. As he approached the Mandela Avenue Roundabout, he attempted to make a left turn onto the Nelson Mandela Avenue to Eccles Inter-Link Road but lost control of the vehicle.

The car collided with a concrete median and flipped multiple times before coming to a stop, leaving the vehicle extensively damaged. During the crash, both Kenneth and the woman in the front seat were ejected from the vehicle and were found unconscious on the roadway. Unfortunately, both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency Medical Services and the Guyana Fire Service were called to the location, successfully extracting a teenage occupant who was trapped in the wreckage. He was transported to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where he remains hospitalized.

The bodies of the deceased have been taken to the mortuary, pending post-mortem examinations. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage from the area as part of an ongoing investigation into the fatal crash.
