A 29-year-old woman, Ashley Holder of Bushlot, has tragically died after being struck by a motorcar on the Anna Regina Public Road on Friday at approximately 9:50 PM.

According to police reports, Holder was hit by motorcar PAK 4313, driven by a 54-year-old male resident of Onderneeming. The driver stated he was traveling south along the eastern lane of the roadway when he suddenly felt an impact. Upon stopping, he discovered Holder lying unconscious in front of his vehicle.
The driver promptly transported her to the Lima Regional Hospital, where medical staff examined her. Despite receiving attention for injuries to her body and head, she was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
Following the incident, the driver was arrested and taken to the Anna Regina Police Station, where a breathalyzer test indicated a result of 10 micrograms—well below the legal limit of 30 micrograms. He remains in custody as investigations proceed.
Authorities are reviewing video footage from the vehicle’s dash camera as part of the ongoing investigation.
