Truck Driver in Fatal Linden Highway Accident Had No License

News Room Reports : The truck driver involved in a fatal accident on the Soesdyke/Linden Highway on Saturday, which claimed three lives, did not possess a truck license, according to police. The truck also lacked reflectors to alert other road users.

The accident occurred around 1:30 AM near Loo Creek when Mario Campbell, 26, was driving with his seven-year-old son and two passengers. The truck, transporting wooden materials, suffered a tire blowout and stopped on the highway.

Mario was reportedly speeding at the time. His son, Marenzo Campbell, 26-year-old Shelly Joseph, and 25-year-old Keiron Wells died from their injuries. Mario suffered serious injuries but is in stable condition.

A breathalyzer test on the truck driver showed no alcohol in his system.
