Two Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested

In a coordinated effort by law enforcement, two suspects linked to armed robbery incidents have been arrested in separate operations.

Beres Parkinson, a 24-year-old unemployed resident of Eastville Housing Scheme, Annandale, was apprehended in connection with an alleged robbery under arms that occurred in Regional Police Division 4A. According to Assistant Commissioner Khali Pareshram, Parkinson is currently in custody at the Vigilance Police Station, East Coast Demerara.

In a follow-up operation, police acting on additional information apprehended Vibert Crassman, an 18-year-old unemployed resident of Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara. Crassman was arrested on the Lusignan Railway Embankment, East Coast Demerara, for an alleged armed robbery committed in Georgetown. He is also being held at the Vigilance Police Station.

Both suspects are expected to face charges related to their alleged involvement in these crimes as investigations continue. The arrests highlight the ongoing commitment of local law enforcement to combat armed robbery and enhance community safety.
