Two individuals have been arrested after approximately seven kilograms of cocaine were discovered in their possession. This operation was carried out by officers of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) on Monday.
The intelligence-led operation took place on Hadfield Street, where CANU officers intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number CL 4761. During a thorough search of the vehicle, the illegal drugs were uncovered.
The riders, identified as Jaleel Bagot and Quincy McDonald, were promptly arrested.
