Shamsundar Khamo, known as ‘Nest’, 20, and Vijay Khamo, referred to as ‘Guru’, 23, both farmers from Grassfield, Enmore, East Coast Demerara, have been charged with ‘Attempt to Commit Murder’. The charges stem from an incident involving Naresh Bisnauth on August 11, 2025.
The two were arrested on August 11 by a Detective Sergeant from the Enmore Police Station and subsequently charged on August 15. They appeared at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court before His Worship Sunil Scarce, where the charges were read.
Bail was denied, and both individuals were remanded to prison. The case is set to be adjourned to August 27, 2025, for further report.
