Authorities have apprehended the driver involved in a tragic accident that claimed the life of 9-year-old Sahil Naipaul, a student at Crabwood Creek Primary School. Sahil resided at Grant 1802, Crabwood Creek.
The incident occurred around 12:45 PM, involving a motorcar with registration number PAK 6593. The vehicle was driven by a 21-year-old male from Grant 1803, also in Crabwood Creek.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are still under investigation. Region Six Police Commander Shivpersaud Bacchus confirmed that the driver is currently in custody and is assisting authorities with their inquiries.
