We Invest In Nationhood Reports : The young man from Kariako who was bitten by a labaria is now reported to be in stable condition. After experiencing days without proper transportation, he has finally reached a hospital in Lima, where he is receiving antibiotics and pain medication, bringing him some much-needed relief.

Member of Parliament Beverley Cornelius visited him at the hospital to check on his condition and offer support.
WIN continues to urge the Ministry of Health to establish reliable emergency medivac services for Indigenous communities to prevent such situations in the future.
