Authorities are investigating the tragic shooting of 27-year-old Xavier Fraser, a taxi driver from Plum Park, Sophia. The incident occurred around 10:36 PM on Sunday night at Mercy Wing, Plum Park.
Fraser was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 19-year-old male, also from Plum Park, sustained multiple gunshot injuries. He is currently in stable condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital, where he is receiving medical care.
The police have confirmed that the circumstances surrounding the incident are under active investigation. Officials are reviewing CCTV footage from the area as part of their inquiries.
As investigations continue, Fraser’s body has been transferred to the hospital’s mortuary, awaiting a post-mortem examination.
