VPAC Message : It’s Time to Secure a Seat at the Table – Together!

It’s Time to Secure a Seat at the Table – Together!

In a Social Media Post VPAC wrote : We are not chasing positions; we are chasing purpose. We enter this race not with blind ambition, but with a deeply rooted mission—to confront corruption and create inclusive opportunities where the voices of young people, working-class citizens, and marginalized communities are no longer ignored.

Over the past year, Guyanese from all walks of life have told us the same thing: they are tired of the political monopoly, fed up with broken promises, and hungry for change. We believe that change does not come from one person or one party alone—it must be collective.

That is why we are actively engaging with like-minded forces that share our values and vision. In that spirit, we acknowledge the emergence of The New People’s Movement as a force aligned with our commitment to anti-corruption, transparency, and shared prosperity. While we are distinct in our identity and proud of our policies, we recognize the strength in uniting the people’s voices to reshape our country’s trajectory.

We are not naïve about the odds, but we are confident in our vision for the future. This election is about more than who becomes president; it is about the people finally having a say in the future direction of this nation. On behalf of all Guyanese, we are fighting and shall continue to fight for the power in our government to combat corruption and effect meaningful change.

We are asking Guyanese to back a movement that refuses to compromise on core principles. We’ve been approached by many parties, but our position remains—if our ideologies do not align, we cannot and will not align. Unity must not be a matter of convenience; it must be rooted in shared purpose.

We are calling on the people of Guyana—especially the youth, the working class, and the visionaries—to support us. Support our message. Support our movement. Every vote for us is a vote for real influence, not empty symbolism. It is a vote to inject fresh, principled voices into Parliament and, potentially, into government.

This is your moment, Guyana. Do not waste it.

We’re not asking for blind loyalty—we’re asking for smart support. Let us enter this election with our eyes wide open, our spirits united, and our goals fixed on building a nation that works for everyone—not just a few.
