In a recent Statement We Invest in Nationhood (WIN) has officially rejected social media reports claiming that Dr. Philip Handel Mozart Thomas has been appointed as Foreign Secretary. In a statement, the party clarified that it has not appointed or endorsed anyone to that position.

Founded in June 2025 by businessman Azruddin Mohamed, WIN aims to contest the upcoming general and regional elections. Mohamed has emphasized themes of unity and effective governance, focusing on embracing diversity and prioritizing public resources.
WIN highlighted that the misinformation incorrectly referred to the party as “We Invest in Neighborhood,” further indicating the falsehood of the claims. The party stated, “Dr. Philip Handel Mozart Thomas is not a member of WIN,” and any statements attributed to him are in his personal capacity, as he has not been authorized to speak for the party.
As WIN prepares for the elections, the party urges supporters to disregard misleading information and assures that all official announcements will be made through verified channels. The false claims come amid WIN’s coalition with A New and United Guyana (ANUG) for the election campaign, where ANUG adopted WIN’s logo while maintaining its identity.
Given its recent entry into the political arena, WIN is focused on controlling its communications and countering misinformation, particularly in the context of the heightened scrutiny surrounding Guyana’s electoral landscape.
