NBC News Reports | 21-year-old transgender TikTok influencer Girlalala was shot and killed following an argument with her boyfriend, Shanoyd Whyte Jr., 25. The incident occurred in Whyte’s vehicle, where authorities say a verbal fight escalated to physical violence.
Girlalala was found with multiple gunshot wounds outside a home and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Whyte reported that the couple often argued and that the altercation began when Girlalala pulled his hair.
Following the shooting, Whyte called 911 and was arrested on charges of first-degree murder with a firearm. A firearm was recovered at the scene. It is unclear if he has legal representation.
