At a public meeting in Alexander Village, President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali criticized political parties that pay for support, asserting that supporters of the People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C) will receive a more prosperous future instead.
“Your payment will come with more opportunities for you and your family,” he explained, emphasizing a vision of a safer, healthier, and more unified country.
President Ali outlined several initiatives to achieve this vision, including the installation of streetlights and security cameras, the expansion of local health centers, the establishment of a zero-rated development bank, and the creation of a small business development complex.
He highlighted that Alexander Village is at the forefront of development in Georgetown, noting the surrounding growth of hotels, malls, hospitals, and industrial projects.
