Environmental Protection Agency Green Walk 2025!
Today, June 1st, 2025, the Protected Areas Commission, along with numerous organizations and schools, participated in the EPA’s annual Green Walk. This year’s theme for World Environment Day is “Ending Plastic Pollution,” which inspired creativity among PAC staff members who designed the banners and shirts for the event.
The participants, wearing burgundy shirts emblazoned with the theme on the back, chanted, “Plastic, Plastic, Out the Door! The Earth is Green Forevermore!” This lively slogan invoked hope for a cleaner, greener future.
The walk concluded with a brief program, followed by visits to the PAC educational booth by many attendees, including the Honorable Prime Minister Brigadier Mark Phillips. The Commission is proud to once again partake in this wonderful initiative and remains committed to protecting nature and improving lives.
