Yesterday, Senior Officers and Junior Ranks of the Guyana Police Force, along with representatives from GuyAmerica Construction Company, gathered at the newly constructed Moblissa Police Outpost for its official handing-over ceremony.

The simple ceremony commenced with Commander of Regional Division 4B, Senior Superintendent W. DeHearte, expressing profound gratitude for the donation of the outpost. He emphasised that this facility will significantly enhance the operational capacity of ranks, enabling them to effectively serve the Moblissa community and surrounding areas.
Assistant Commissioner of Police K. Simon, Commander of Regional Division #10, echoed these sentiments, assuring the donor that both the outpost and accompanying motorbikes would be utilised efficiently to bolster security and policing efforts in the region.
Mr. Reeyad Khan, Director of GuyAmerica Construction Company, highlighted the company’s commitment to supporting community safety. Before handing over the keys, he stated that his company recognised the necessity of a stronger police presence in Moblissa and is proud to contribute to this initiative. This outpost will not only benefit the community but also enhance security for the ongoing Linden-Soesdyke Highway Road Project.
The Guyana Police Force extends its sincere appreciation to GuyAmerica Construction Company for this invaluable contribution, which will undoubtedly improve public safety and service delivery in the region.
