Are you a qualified professional looking to join our team? AGM INC invites applications for the position of Payroll Officer. Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Job Description

  • Collect, calculate, and enter payroll data.
  • Update payroll records for changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, deductions, and employee transfers.
  • Prepare reports summarizing earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
  • Calculate payroll liabilities, including taxes and social security contributions.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies through data analysis.
  • Provide payroll information to answer inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve related goals.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A finance or economics degree is advantageous but not mandatory. Formal education, such as CSEC passes or related qualifications, will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll operations and accounting.
  • Familiarity with the Phoenix Payroll System is a plus.
