ChildLink Inc., a leading non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and supporting vulnerable children and families, is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team. We currently have vacancies for the following positions in Region 4:

  • Region 4 Advocacy Officer
  • Communications Officer
  • Victim Support Officer
  • Counsellor

Responsibilities:

Region 4 Advocacy Officer:

Advocate for the rights and welfare of children in Region 4.
Develop and implement advocacy strategies to raise awareness about child protection issues.
Collaborate with local authorities, organizations, and community leaders to address child welfare concerns.
Provide support and guidance to families and children in need.

Communications Officer:

Develop and implement communication strategies to promote ChildLink’s mission and programs.
Create engaging content for social media, website, newsletters, and press releases.
Manage media relations and coordinate public relations activities.
Monitor and analyze communication efforts to assess effectiveness.


Victim Support Officer:

Provide direct support and assistance to child victims of abuse or neglect.
Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans for victims and their families.
Coordinate with other agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive care and services.
Advocate for the rights and needs of child victims within the legal and social systems.


Counsellor:

Offer counselling services to children and families affected by abuse, trauma, or other challenging circumstances.
Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to address emotional, psychological, and social needs.
Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and psychologists, to provide holistic support.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of counselling sessions and progress.


Qualifications:

A first degree from a recognized University.
Prior experience with working with victims of child abuse, marketing, or public relations.
Knowledge of local child care legislation and the local child welfare system.
