VACANCY: Jr. Reservoir Engineer

Scope of Works:

  • Create reservoir simulation models based on earth models to accurately depict subsurface oil and gas reservoirs.
  • Conduct fluid property and well test analysis.
  • Determine optimal well and drill center locations.
  • Assist with flowline and riser modeling.
  • Steward fields already in production.
  • Aid in oil and gas reserves preparations.
  • Collaborate with geologists, petrophysicists, and geophysicists to create reservoir models.
  • Work with company partners to develop optimal solutions for oil and gas field development in Guyana.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Lead, Reservoir Engineering.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Mechanical or Civil Engineering preferred).
  • Experience is an asset but not compulsory.

Core Competencies/Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good interpersonal skills; ability to adapt to different cultural and business environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to learn sophisticated software programs such as Eclipse.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work outside normal office hours when required.

VACANCY: Jr. Petrophysicist

Scope of Works:

  • Provide log analysis, petrophysical interpretations, and data management services.
  • Develop logging and core analysis programs to meet formation evaluation needs.
  • Prepare geological and reservoir studies, including resource evaluation, field review, and models.
  • Provide technical operational support to drilling and completion operations.
  • Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and engineers to create reservoir models.
  • Work with company partners to develop optimal solutions for oil and gas field development in Guyana.
  • Assist in oil and gas reserves preparations.
  • Perform other assigned tasks.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Earth Science, Geophysics, Engineering, etc.).
  • Experience is an asset but not compulsory.
