A violent confrontation between two men on Saturday morning has resulted in their deaths, with investigators suspecting the dispute stemmed from a conflict over a woman.
The incident occurred around 9:00 AM at a residence in the community. The deceased have been identified as Joshua Joseph, 22, known as “Racoon,” and Jonathan Hassan, 26, also referred to as “Cutto,” who was a father of one.
Preliminary reports suggest that the two men engaged in a heated argument, which quickly escalated into a knife fight. Eyewitness accounts indicate that both inflicted stab wounds on one another during the altercation.
Residents reported that one of the injured men collapsed at the scene, while the other fled on a motorcycle but only traveled a short distance before requesting water. He subsequently fell from the motorcycle and succumbed to his injuries.
“Both of them, after fighting over the girl, just hugged each other and started stabbing each other, and both of them died,” a resident recounted. “One of the guys that died, the girl is his child’s mother. They fought over her, both of them dead, and she is still standing. They lost their lives stupidly.”
Authorities have secured the area and initiated a full investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the tragic encounter. Investigations are ongoing as the community grapples with the aftermath of this violent confrontation.
