Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced individuals for the role of Floorman. Ideal candidates should have a background in a similar position, with responsibilities that encompass a variety of crucial tasks.
These include cleaning and painting of equipment, maintaining cleanliness on drill sites, transporting and storing work materials, equipment installation, and the upkeep of drilling and extraction tools. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of drilling activities.
Requirements:
To be eligible for the Floorman position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- A high school diploma or its equivalent. Additional technical or vocational training in drilling operations is an advantage.
- Possession of offshore certifications, including Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET).
- Previous experience as a Floorman or in a similar role on an offshore rig is preferred.
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to work in physically demanding and challenging offshore conditions.
- Knowledge of drilling equipment and machinery.
- Understanding of safety regulations and procedures in an offshore drilling environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Rigger/Slinger Training.
- STCW Fire Fighting – Basic (BFF) Course Certificate.
- Offshore Medical Certificate.
