REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must bring the following documents for the entrance examination:
- Birth Certificate
- ID Card/Passport
- TIN Certificate
- NIS Card
- SOS/Discharge Letter
- Original Police Clearance Additionally, candidates must provide:
- Two (02) Recommendations
- Bank Account Number
- Four (04) Passport Size Pictures
- Age Requirement: Between 18 and 35 Years Old
- Educational Requirement: Five (05) CXC Subjects (Basic)

- Statistician: Analyze and interpret data related to prison populations and operations.
- Store Keeper: Manage inventory and supplies within the prison facility.
- Trade Instructor: Provide vocational training and skills development programs for inmates.
- Medex: Provide medical care and support to inmates within the prison health system.
- Agriculturalist: Oversee agricultural projects and initiatives within the prison system.
- Nurse: Provide healthcare services and support to inmates within the prison health system.
- Recruitment Officer: Assist with the recruitment and selection process for new prison staff.
- Public Relations Officer: Manage communication and public relations efforts for the Guyana Prison Service.
- Technical Support Officer (IT): Provide technical support and assistance for IT systems and infrastructure within the prison administration.
