Romona Bechu, the mother of the children, reported to the News Room that the fire, which occurred on Wednesday night, was allegedly set by her partner following a heated argument earlier that day. Their eldest daughter, 19, has been traumatized by the incident and is currently hospitalized after fainting.

“She fainted on the road and is in the hospital now; she didn’t get burned from the fire, just traumatized,” Bechu stated.

According to Bechu, she had left the house around 8:00 PM after an argument that escalated to involve the police. When she called to check on her children shortly after leaving, she was informed that the house was on fire. “The children said he put them out of the house and then the fire started,” she explained.

Initially, Bechu and her partner had a confrontation earlier in the day around 1:30 PM. This dispute continued until 7:30 PM, leading to her being asked to leave the house. She went to a friend’s home for the night, leaving her children with their father.

The fire resulted in the complete loss of their home, which was owned by the man. Bechu and her partner had lived together for 25 years and had faced frequent arguments throughout their relationship.

Bechu confirmed that her partner is currently in police custody as investigations into the fire are underway. Meanwhile, the children are being cared for by a teacher, while Bechu is staying with a friend.
