Man Remanded in Connection with Death of Guyanese Woman in Antigua

Antigua Newsroom – A 24-year-old man, Victor Ince of Lightfoot West, has been remanded to prison in Antigua and Barbuda following charges related to the death of 19-year-old Joyleen Abraham from Guyana.

Ince appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel on Wednesday, facing charges of unlawful confinement and killing. The incident occurred on May 7 in the Judges Estate area, where police report that Abraham was ejected from a moving vehicle driven by Ince. She was found with multiple injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 6:30 PM.

Abraham had reportedly arrived on the island just days before her tragic death. Ince is scheduled to return to court on September 17.
