Vacancy for Driver

The Ministry of Education is seeking applications from qualified individuals to fill the position of Driver for the Guyana Strengthening Human Capital through Education Project (HCP).

Requirements:

• Sound Secondary Education.
• Holder of a valid driver’s license for motor car (MC) and motor van (MV) obtained before 2018.
• Proficient in driving both automatic and stick shift vehicles.
• Good knowledge and experience of the road network in Guyana. Knowledge of hinterland roadways will be considered an advantage.
• Shortlisted applicants will be required to provide recent police clearance.
• Shortlisted applicants may be required to undergo a medical examination.

How to Obtain Detailed Terms of Reference (TOR):
Interested persons can obtain the detailed TOR from 109 Barima Avenue, Bel Air Park, Georgetown, Guyana, Monday to Thursday, between 08:00 to 16:30hrs, and on Friday from 08:00hrs to 15:30hrs. Alternatively, a letter of request can be sent via email to gespp.procurement@moc.gov.gy.
