Inspector Abasola Flatts, an officer currently stationed at Regional Police Division 4 ‘A’, has appeared in court to answer to a criminal charge of Unlawful Transfer of Ammunition.
The charge against Inspector Flatts resulted from an intelligence-led operation carried out on Wednesday, May 7, 2026, at the Linden Bus Park in Georgetown.
The Inspector appeared before Her Worship Magistrate Fabio Azore at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was formally read to him. He entered a plea of not guilty. Magistrate Azore granted him bail in the sum of G$150,000.
The matter has been adjourned until June 24, 2026, for the purpose of disclosure.
