A suspected human skull was discovered on the Number One Foreshore in Albion, Corentyne, prompting an ongoing police investigation.

The discovery occurred around 11:22 AM when a 23-year-old employee of the National Drainage and Irrigation Authority, who was working in the area, stumbled upon what appeared to be a human skull. After making the unsettling find, he promptly contacted the Albion Police Station to report the incident.
Police officers from the station responded quickly, visiting the site located on the southern side of the Number One Public Road. The ranks examined the area and the remains, which were documented and photographed as part of the investigation.
Following the initial examination, the skull was collected for forensic analysis. The remains have since been transported to Ramoo Funeral Home, where they are being held pending further examination.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the skull, and further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
