The APNU Coalition strongly condemns the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) and its affiliates for their continued intimidation and threats against individuals who have signed in support of the APNU list. Reports indicate that PPP agents are coercing these individuals with threats of job loss and other repercussions.
These acts of desperation by the PPP must be denounced by all Guyanese. We cannot allow such intimidation tactics to go unchecked. The APNU Coalition is heartened by the resilience shown by the Guyanese people, who are standing firm in their rights and resisting these undue pressures.
As we approach the elections on September 1st, we urge all citizens to exercise their right to vote and help us bring an end to this troubling era of PPP governance.
