Two men were fined after pleading guilty to multiple traffic-related offences when they appeared before the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court last Friday.

These offences occurred on January 18 along the Riverstown Public Road.

Appearing before Magistrate Tariq Mohamed on January 23, Conway pleaded guilty to both charges. He received a fine of $130,000 for failing to have an identification mark, with a default of three months’ imprisonment. Additionally, he was fined $15,000 for breaching the General Dealers Permit conditions, with a default of one week’s imprisonment.

In a separate case, Devon France, a 26-year-old labourer living at Lot 257 Onderneeming, was charged with several offences: driving without a licence, operating an uncertified motor vehicle, and driving an uninsured vehicle, all in accordance with the Motor Vehicle and Road Traffic Act, Chapter 51:02. These violations took place on January 16 along the Onderneeming Sand Pit Access Road.
