Flight Operations Inspectors

Provide regulatory safety oversight and surveillance, including but not limited to,
certification and approvals, flight checks, route checks, audits, inspections, and
surveillance for flight and ground operations activities of all Aircraft Operations, Approved
Training Organizations and Ground Handling Agencies in Guyana Also, provision of
regulatory oversight of all Guyana Air Operators overseas, as well as all Pilots and other
licensed Operations Personnel holding a Guyana License

Airworthiness Inspectors

Provide regulatory safety oversight through inspections, audits, examinations, and other certification and surveillance functions for the maintenance activities of all aircraft operators and approved maintenance organizations in Guyana, as well as all Guyana air operators and Guyana aircraft operating outside of Guyana.
Also, provide regulatory safety oversight functions for all persons engaged in providing aircraft
maintenance services in Guyana and for Guyana

Aerodrome Ground Aids Inspectors

Provide regulatory safety oversight and surveillance of aerodromes in Guyana with the objective
of enhancing safety through licensing and/or certification of aerodromes, inspections, surveys and audits of aerodrome facilities and equipment, monitoring of personnel, and review and approval of manuals and other documentation produced by the aerodrome operators, thus ensuring their compliance with the applicable Civil Aviation Regulations and requirements.

Personnel Licensing Officer

Carrying out regulatory and surveillance functions related to the personnel licensing mandate of the Authority to ensure that license holders (pilots, maintenance engineers, air traffic controllers, flight dispatchers, etc.) maintain compliance with the Civil Aviation Regulations and requirements of Guyana To ensure that Aviation Training Organizations are certified or approved; to maintain the Guyana Aircraft Register and databases for all Authority-issued instruments of approval; and to collaborate with other safety inspectors on matters requiring personnel licensing enforcement, as required.

Air Navigation Services Inspector

Provide effective regulatory safety oversight of the Air Navigation Services system through audits, inspections and other surveillance activities of the facilities to enhance safety and
efficiency of air navigation in Guyana’s airspace. To also monitor equipment and personnel, and
to review and approve manuals and other documentation produced by the ANSP to ensure
compliance with the applicable Civil Aviation Regulations and requirements.
