Position Summary: As a Farm Hand, you will play a crucial role in supporting our agricultural operations. Your responsibilities will include various tasks related to planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops. You will work alongside a skilled team to ensure the farm’s success and contribute to the production of top-quality produce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with planting and cultivating crops according to established guidelines.
- Participate in irrigation and pest control activities as directed by supervisors.
- Perform manual labor such as weeding, pruning, and harvesting crops.
- Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery under supervision.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and report to the Farm Manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in agriculture or farming is a plus but not required.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors and experienced team members.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of agricultural practices and equipment operation.
